The construction has been carefully planned in two phases to ensure minimal disruption to students and staff while allowing key facilities, such as the Aquatic Centre, to become operational as early as possible.
Preparation for the precinct’s construction will begin in late December 2024. This initial stage involves preparing the site to ensure a smooth start to the project.
Phase 1 (2025–Mid-2026): Construction of the Aquatic Centre, Athletics Hub, outdoor courts, and an enhanced Junior School playground.
Phase 2 (Mid-2026–End 2027): Completion of the Indoor Sports Centre, additional outdoor courts, and underground car park.
Please check back for up-to-date information regarding construction.
Regular updates on key milestones and operational adjustments will also be shared with families to keep everyone informed and prepared.
Access to Campus
We’re pleased to advise that work has begun on Phase 1 of the Physical Education and Sport Precinct. This includes the new Aquatics Centre and an upgraded Year 3–6 playground, due for completion in 2026.
We are working with our builders to minimise noise and other impacts on our community, but several changes to parking and traffic flow around the campus have been necessary.
Drop-off points in the main Chapel carpark, including for Junior School, are unaffected and will operate as usual, supported by our security staff and commissionaires.
Construction traffic will use the two site access points on Lofts Avenue outside of peak traffic hours. This has required the closure of the pedestrian footpath, drop-off, and parking zones alongside the development on the west side of Lofts Avenue.
Construction traffic on Lofts Avenue is being carefully managed to avoid peak times. Truck movement in and out of Lofts Avenue will be scheduled predominantly between 7 - 8 am and 8.30 am - 2.45 pm. We recommend avoiding Lofts Avenue during these times. Traffic controllers are stationed to manage pedestrian safety and the flow of construction vehicles.
To ensure safety and alleviate congestion, families are encouraged to minimise using Lofts Avenue and avoid parking near the construction site entry.
These Phase 1 developments can be viewed on this updated campus map.
