Henty – September 2023 (“Promotion”)
Terms and Conditions
By entering MLC's Henty Prize Draw (Draw), you agree to, and represent that:
(a) you have read and understood these terms and conditions; and
(b) if you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian has read these terms and conditions and has provided their approval for you to enter in the Draw and to provide the personal information contained in your entry.
1. Promoter
Methodist Ladies’ College (ACN 006 036 979) of 207 Barkers Rd, Kew, Victoria, Australia 3101 (the Promoter)
2. Who may enter and method of entry
Entry is only open to any individual who is a member of the public. The Promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter.
To enter, an Entrant must complete and submit the form provided with their first name, last name, email address and telephone number.
3. Number Of Entries Permitted
Each Entrant may enter the Draw only once.
4. Duration of entry period
The entry period for the prize draw is from Tuesday, 19 September, 8 am AEST to Thursday, 21 September 4 pm AEST, 2023.
5. Details of prizes and prize values
- There will be one (1) prize awarded in the Draw, comprising a $39.99 Signed Gilbert Spectra T500 Size 5 Netball.
- The prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash or otherwise substitutable by the winner (Prize Recipient).
6. Date, time and place of draw
The prize draw will be conducted at 10am AEST on Wednesday 28 September 2023. All draws will be conducted at Methodist Ladies’ College, 207 Barkers Road, Kew, Victoria 3101. One winner (1) will be randomly selected from the pool of Eligible Entries.
7. Publication of winner names
The winners will be notified by email or text message within three (3) business days of the drawing.
8. Unclaimed prize draw
Winners must claim their prize and confirm contact details by return email within three (3) months of the date of notification. Prizes will be delivered to winners within 2 weeks of the date of claim. In the event that a winner has not validly claimed their prize within three (3) months of the date of notification, that prize will be forfeited and no compensation will be payable. Prizes that have not been claimed within three (3) months of the date of notification will be re-drawn at 10am AEST on Wedesday, 20 December 2023 at Methodist Ladies’ College, 207 Barkers Road, Kew, Victoria 3101. The winner will be notified by email within three (3) business days of the drawing.
9. Cost
There is no cost or fee to enter the Promotion.
10. Exclusion of Liability
(a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any Entrant or any other person including but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or its contractors or its agents in connection with supply of the prizes awarded to the prize winners.
(b) The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion will be final.
(c) The Promoter is under no obligation to provide reasons for any of its decisions.
(d) The Promoter is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence whatsoever with Entants or their representatives in matters relating to the Promotion.
(e) The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
(h) The Promoter does not take responsibility for misdirected mail or mail received late and the Promoter will not be liable for any loss resulting from transit of prizes.
11. Privacy
Entrants’ personal information which is collected by MLC pursuant to this Draw will be:
(i) used to conduct the Draw and enable the identification of the Prize Recipient; and
(ii) handled in accordance with MLC’s Privacy Policy located at Policies and Guidelines
Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties, except for the purposes of conducting the Draw.
By entering the Draw, Entrants consent to:
(i) inclusion of their personal information on MLC’s mailing lists; and
(ii) MLC’s use of their personal information to provide them (via email) with marketing, promotional and advertising information about MLC.
If the requested information is not provided, the Entrant will not be eligible to participate in the prize draw or to claim a prize and their entry may be discarded.
12. Inconsistency
To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions will prevail.
13. Acknowledgement
By entering/participating in the Draw, each entrant acknowledges that these terms and conditions are legally binding.
